Esther is founder and Managing Director of Sapient Hadassah’s Touch Limited, a publishing firm she started over a decade ago while still a student of the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Esther founded a business but more importantly she discovered herself. She had attempted a degree in

Engineering but couldn’t cope, then she turned to Physical and Health Education and for a while she appeared to excel in sports but even that wasn’t for her.
Finally, while reading a friend’s manuscript that was ready to go to print, Esther found herself. Hers was a world filled with a love for words and colours, a keen eye for spotting errors and a passion for telling people’s stories.

When she began her business, well-meaning and experienced mentors thought she couldn’t be a successful CEO without first being an employee but they were very wrong. Esther Dumbiri shares her experience of discovering herself while a student and starting a business along her gifting and more importantly, staying the course.
Her business has grown in leaps and bounds and in this interview, Esther takes us back to where it all began.
